Sofia Piggott
PH.D candidate
Brown University Presidential Scholar
Sofia is broadly interested in behavior and functional morphology in the context of evolutionary history and plastic constraints. Sofia's current research focuses on anatomical disparities in the manakin system. She is specifically interested in how specialized bone anatomy and behavior are both reflected in the phylogeny of the system. She is looking forward to exploring how behavior and anatomical evolution interact in different natural systems.
